About Farm Advisory Services Team Ltd (FAST)
The Company was founded in 1981 by Eric Gunn and since his retirement in 1992, the Company has been owned by senior members of staff and managed by Tim Biddlecombe.
The philosophy of the Company is to provide progressive commercial advice, through a team of advisers with differing backgrounds and skills, to our clients who have the freedom to consult any member of the team on their particular problem. We believe that this team concept is very important and one of the major strengths of the Company. Day to day advice is backed up by a full range of analytical laboratory services and a comprehensive programme of trials, development projects and training.
We advise in all the major fruit growing areas throughout the UK and have offices located at Faversham Kent, Ipswich Suffolk & Ledbury Herefordshire.
The team consists of Tim Biddlecombe, John Handford (who heads the soft fruit team), Don Vaughan, Karen Morgan, Nigel Baker, Gary Saunders, Rob Cook, Chris Levett, Doug Hutton-Squire (East Anglia) and Graham Moore (West Midlands).
Mark Botting manages the laboratory services. In addition we have secretarial and technical support staff.
